CPUC MEETING IN SF THURSDAY

ALERT--THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER!! *****CPUC MEETING IN SF THURSDAY*****    CALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! INVITE YOUR CITY COUNCILMEMBERS AND COUNTY SUPERVISORS!
Individuals and organizations opposing the rollout of ‘Smart’ Meters in San Francisco and elsewhere in California will be gathering at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) meeting at 505 Van Ness Avenue (at McAllister, near City Hall) in San Francisco this Thursday, March 24th at 9am to testify at their morning meeting. Now is the perfect time to encourage your local elected officials to attend the CPUC meeting to demand that the Commission immediately halt further installations in the state and hold public hearings on health impacts of smart meters- OPT OUT IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH! The Governor must also remove Michael Peevey from the Commission immediately.  Peevey is a former utility executive with Southern California Edison -- the classic fox watching the hen house, a man who has made the CPUC into a laughing stock and a lapdog to the industry.
